The Tailwind jungle lodge is located 30 miles north of Puerto Vallarta, just outside of Bahia de Banderas (the Bay of Flags), one of the largest bays in the world. . The lodge is 3 miles outside of the charming town of San Pancho (official name, San Francisco). San Pancho has a population of approx. 3000 people, many of them x-pats. This is a community with a lot of character and some great art and music festivals throughout the winter. Other nearby towns include Sayulita to the south, and Lo Marco and La Penita to the north.
Guests should fly into the Puerto Vallarta Airport, approximately 1 hour drive south of San Pancho.
