The roof is on! The photos hardly do it, justice, but the palapa is a masterpiece. As I was sitting in the loft enjoying the palapa, the view and feel of the wood on my feet I couldn't stop smiling. I'm thinking that that is a good thing . . ! Yeah for Casita Tejone.

Tailwind’s new casita is making progress! The floor is done for the loft and the palapa is being constructed at this moment! Things are coming together and the Casita is going to have a very "swiss family robinson type feel to it".

The surf has definitely be up in San Pancho over the last couple of days! Maybe it has something to do with the full moon? Tailwind guest, Alex, explored the local surf breaks throughout his stay in the jungle . . . up to very the last minute!
Despite his nickname "Salty", Alex decided to "shower" before his plane ride home (see photo). Nice one Alex, you're taking water conservation to a whole new level! We love sustainably minded guests  .

news! We've officially decided to begin construction on a new bungalow for
Tailwind! This new bungalow will be a cross between the guest palapa and an eco-bungalow.

On April 18, Tailwind
hosted it’s first Round-table discussion on Issues of Sustainability and
Environment in San Pancho. We had a great little showing of some Tailwind's friend's from San Pancho. The discussion was held on the pool deck and the topics of water, waste and energy were shared. Everyone certainly left feeling that there is a lot of work to be done in San Pancho . . . Being aware is a good thing but isn't easy! Thanks to all those who joined in. There will be more Roundtable Discussions in the future!
