The
Tailwind eco-bungalows are wooden platforms with canvas safari style wall
tents.
These bungalows include a Mexican style
dinning table and chairs, a hammock, a small kitchenette a bedroom area, a
private shower and shared composting toilet.
Capacity: 2 bungalows, each sleeps 2 people
Bedroom: 2 wooden framed beds that can either be twin beds
or 1 king sized bed. Beds are set
up with cascading bug nets for comfortable sleeping. Canvas walls of the tent
can either be rolled for open air sleeping or left down for privacy.
Bathroom: Bungalows have a private outdoor shower (hot
water) made of driftwood. Bungalows have private composting toilets (they're nice, no need to worry!). Only natural soaps are used and grey
water is fed to banana plants around the shower.
Kitchenettes: include small fridge, a basic collection of
cooking pots/pans, plates, mugs/cups and utensils, a 2 burner counter top stove
(propane) and a coffee maker, sink for dishwashing
Rate: Low season, bungalows rent for $80/night. High season $95/night.
